Book Distribution is sooo Sweet
After a wonderful seminar by HG Radhika Raman Prabhu, it was so enlivening to go door-door to distribute sets. Inspired by the lecture, Jamuna Mataji took a set for her cafe.
Then we went in an area where no one wanted to accept a Gita, but we met one Chinese lady who happily took Gita and a Chinese book. She also learned the Maha mantra and she chanted in her own sweet way saying, " Hale Krishna".
We met two families who took SB. One family we met, she was a doctor and her two sons were so inquisitive about the pictures in the books. Older son, Nathan Krishna very sweetly asked questions from the pictures and his questions were deep. He wanted to know all about SB in the few minutes we spent there. While we were leaving, he was asking, what about this, wait, dont go yet. The kid was so sweet, we also did not want to leave and wish we just spend time taking about SB.
In one house Priya Kishori let a wonderful kirtan during installation, it felt that she was calling out to Krsna with so much affection and prayer. We all relished the pure chanting of the holy names led by Priya.
Please pray that all those wonderful souls take up Krishna Consciousness soon with the enlightening presence of Srimad Bhagavatam.
