It All Started with a Note of Encouragement
I was going door to door in Hamilton and met a lady and her daughter. The lady invited me in to talk more about the Bhagavad-gita. She was very open to the teachings of Krsna, explaining how she had once seen a devotee in the center of Hamilton distributing books and felt inspired by his spirit of sacrifice for helping others. She said she had written a note with words of encouragement and given it to the devotee while he was in the middle of an exchange. I said, "That was me!" She was surprised and delighted that I had now come to her home to show her the Gita. All this was topped off with her giving a nice donation and taking the Gita and "Bhakti: The Art of Eternal Love." Jaya Nitai Gauranga!
