Ratha Yatra Los Angeles
Hari Hari
We just had a really nice Ratha Yatra here in LA, they say it was the biggest ever. I was at the book both, behind me was a full set of the Srimad Bhagavatam so I started meditating on how nice it would be if I could distribute it. A half hour later an Indian man came to the table. I asked him if he had the Bhagavad Gita, he said he did, I then asked him if he liked to read, he did. That was all I needed to hear, I started glorifying the amala puranam, he asked how much. He'll be busy reading for awhile.
Another guy came to the table and said,"all these books are not nessessary once you've learned the truth." I said," no, that's not true because we can always learn more about the absolute truth, another thing is the absolute truth is ever fresh so it does'nt get old like other subject matters". He did'nt agree and expressed his arrogance in so many ways, meanwhile his wife was looking at the books and then asked her husband if he would buy one for her, reluctantly he bought one. All glories to the better half!
