"To advance the supremacy of God's word at the onset of the twenty first century, Jehovah's Witnesses are organizing three day conventions this summer, with the theme, "Teacher's of God's Word", to which millions will attend worldwide….. The convention program parts are designed to imress upon those who attend the importance of becoming "Teacher's of God's Word amid this turbulent world. The sessions include the following:
Keynote address
"Completely Equipped as Teacher's of God's Word"…. The three part symposium "Teaching Ourselves While Teaching Other's" will stress the importance of practicing what one preaches in connection with morality, personal Bible study, and the need to resist the devil's efforts to mislead us.
July 21 , will prove many programs that focus on the need to follow Christ's example, such as as 'finding Refreshment Under Christ's Yoke" and Imitate The Great Teacher".
This is world wide, with thirty two scheduled in Japan alone, in eight languages.
I look forward to the day when we will be doing things on such a scale. I think we can learn from them something about preaching spirit.
