Prabhupada is Alive
Candrakanti-devi Dasi has a good preaching field on the Internet, where she connects more than five thousand Bulgarians. On the basis of Ayurveda and vegetarian cooking, she preaches Krishna consciousness and regularly distributes books written by the disciples of Srila Prabhupada and the DVD – Mother Ganga – by Bhaktivaibhava Swami.
A few weeks ago, she came to me and asked for a hundred books by Srila Prabhupada. She explained that a few days before Srila Prabhupada had appeared in her dream and in clear Bulgarian told her (although her English is perfect) "It is nice to distribute the books of my disciples, but now you must include my books in book distribution."
After this revelation she immediately made a plan to collect lakshmi and buy books.
Srila Prabhupada is alive, and he is monitoring his movement. He said, “I will never die. I will live forever in my books.” And we see – he is alive not only in his books but in the devotees' dreams.
Three days ago in a small town, I showed his books in a bookstore.
The lady looked deeply at me and said, “Twenty years ago Bhagavad gita As It Is saved my life! Now I feel I can take Srimad Bhagavatam.” She bought the First Canto and ordered other cantos to come after three months.
The next day in the same town, I met in an office a lady who said, "I had all the books of the Hare Krishna movement – thirty-two books (in Bulgarian) and very much liked to read them. But I made all of them a gift to my very dear friend. Is it offensive?”
“No, it is even recommended,“ I said.
“I want to have all books again now. Can you arrange that?”
I said: “Yes, maybe not all, but most of them.”
Then I ran to the camper and found twenty-two books. The lady was in ecstasy. She gave a nice donation and asked for every new book that came in the future. We had a nice conversation for few minutes. There are such nice devotees all around the world!
