A very appreciative lady
We were just leaving the temple with Dayal Nitai Prabhu (DNP) and Nitai Caran Prabhu (NCP), and were in the train going to Paris. As usual I had some books in my hand. A lady sits next to me, and I can see that she is trying to read the title of the first book of the stack. So I ask her: “Are you trying to read the title of my book? It is Bhagavad-gita.”
She then tells me that she is into spirituality. I tell her that this book is not a book of a certain religion, but is rather a book on spirituality. I explain her that we can change our religion whenever we decide, but that we cannot change what we are: an eternal spiritual soul.
She is so happy with what I say, and she gives me a 10. I saw that she was a special lady so I decide to give her all the small books that I had (Perfection of Yoga, Beyond Birth and Death, etc.)
She tells me that she chants OM, and that she wants to do yoga.
I told her: “Do you know that OM is actually Krishna in the form of sound? It is explained in this book! I can see that Krishna has had an eye on you for quite a long time now! And you want to begin yoga? Then please chant this mantra!”
And I show her the maha-mantra on my phone. After she recited the mantra, I told her: “Just see! you just began Yoga and you just attained the perfection of it!”
I also gave her the little magazine on Srila Prabhupada. When she saw him she said: “When I look at him I know that it is because of people like him that we can still live on earth and that everything does not collapse.”
I was amazed with what I heard, so I started to glorify Srila Prabhupada and she was so happy! She asked so many interesting questions and it was pure nectar to answer.

Prabhupada: Whatever you have learned from Krsna, from your guru, just vomit it, that’s all. There is no need of becoming very expert. Simply repeat whatever you learned, that’s all.

I always keep this quote in my mind when I preach.
When we had to leave the train, I gave her my number and she told me that she will come to the temple.
In the evening she sent me a message telling me that she would come on Wednesday!
Hare Krishna!
Please distribute books!
