Sankirtan Stories
One of the many services of the internet I had another great day distributing Srila Prabhupada's books at West Virginia University in Morgantown, USA. I approached a young couple and said, "Please, my dear friends! I want you to see these books!" Upon taking them for inspection, the man said that he already had them. I was surprised and asked how they were acquired. He said that he had been searching for spiritual literature and that Srila Prabhupada's books were the best ones he had found. He bought them on Amazon. He had been reading the books and really loved them. He was very happy to see someone distributing them to the public. I sincerely thanked him for the support and praised him for his sincerity and intelligence. Then I told the couple about the nearest temples and showed them how to chant. They became very happy. They even left a donation to help our cause.

Quite soon after that I met another couple. Once they stopped, I handed them a Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam 1.1. The girl was very interested in the books because she had grown up in Wheeling and had visited New Vrindavan many times. She said she loved being at the temple and wanted to learn more about Krsna consciousness. Because she had heard of the devotees distributing books, but had never actually seen it in person, she was very happy to get Srila Prabhupadaês books and left a nice donation. I then gave them another book. When the girl saw Krishna on the cover, it appeared as if her heart melted.
She joyfully said, "Is that Krishna!? I love Krishna!"
It may sound strange because Krishna Kumara Prabhu recently posted a very similar story, but I promise that is actually what happened. I showed them how to chant and encouraged them to keep visiting New Vrindavan. As we parted they seemed very thankful and excited about the incident and walked away with very big radiant smiles.
