A Sankirtana Story
Dear Prabhus,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
Once while distributing books for the Prabhupada Marathon for a couple of hours one Saturday afternoon in a Gainesville parking lot, I encountered a man sitting in the driver's seat of his car reading the Holy Bible. Christians are always a challenge for me to deal with, and I wondered what to say. Reflecting on the situation, I said to him, "You are the most intelligent person I have seen all day. Everyone else is here buying material goods for their sense gratification, yet you are reading the 'word of God.'" He ended up taking a Science of Self-Realization and giving a donation, and I felt blessed that Krishna had given me the words to say.
