More Bold Preaching from Tulasi Devi Dasi
Hare krsna Prabhus,
I stopped this religious professor who was on his way to India for a big religious conference. A meeting of religions. So I tried to get him to take a book, speaking of the importance of reading these books and the real purpose of going to India. But he kept saying "No, no room, too heavy, etc." So finally, (he was an elderly man) I said, "Look, you should take real advantage of this trip to India. This may very well be your last trip to India you'll make in this body!" That really shocked him and he spontaneously reached in his pocket gave a donation and took a book.
One born again Baptist: "No! And what is this, "His Divine Grace!?" (heavily objecting to the title). He was fired up, so somehow I just said, "Oh you can pronounce it, look just try. "And I pointed to Srila Prabhupada's name, forgeting how the title 'His Divine Grace' had so much disturbed him. Then after he pronouned Srila Prabhupada's name he had a change of heart gave a donation and took a book. Jaya Srila Prabhupada!
One man said, " I'm so impressed with you, the Hare Krsna's are still around after so many years, I'm so impressed. What can I say?"
Say Hare Krsna Hare Krsna! Give a donation and take a book."
"Okay."
He got the mercy.
Your Servant,
Tulasi Devi Dasi
