A dream and a donation for the van
While I distributed books at Cal Poly Pomona in Southern California, a student came to my table and asked, "Do you also go to Cypress College?"
"Yes, I do."
"I thought I recognized you. You gave a Bhagavad Gita to me a few years ago. I couldn't put it down. I love it. Not long after reading it, I had a dream: I was completely free of maya, no modes of nature, no illusion. In this dream I was so happy. I had never been so happy. When I woke up, I still felt this happiness I'd never experienced before. What was that about?"
I said, "Krsna wanted to give you a glimpse of what it's like to be a pure soul. Now you know. But if you want to have that happiness all the time you have to follow the teachings of Bhagavad Gita. That's not as easy as laying in bed and having a dream. The reality is you have to try very hard to please Krsna. Then there will be no illusion, no maya, and the happiness of the pure soul."
We talked for another fifteen minutes, and I invited him to the temple. It looks like Krsna has captured another fortunate soul.
More goods news: A devotee (who wants to remain anonymous) gave me $4,000 for the van in Chittagong. Hari bol! Now we need $13,250. Remember, there is no donation that is too small or too big.
