A Perfect Sequence of Events
On Rama Navami, after an ecstatic morning program, we went out to distribute books, but were delayed by unusually heavy traffic and arrived later than expected at our South Auckland spot. As I parked, a lady appeared outside the car. Inspired from within, I jumped out of the vehicle and talked with her.
Siella (see attached photo) has a real interest in yoga and meditation and was very happy to look at the Science of Self Realisation. Explaining that she likes to randomly explore books before buying one, she opened the SSR and began to read. The page she opened it to contained a letter written by Srila Prabhupada on her birth date!
As she gave a donation, she asked whether she could show me something. Reaching into her purse she showed me her lucky charm, a picture of Indian deities that a friend had given to her for good luck.
The picture stunned me: Sita-Rama, Laxman and Hanuman!
How can we deny the Lord's existence after such a perfect and extraordinary sequences of events?
Harinama sankirtan yajna, ki jaya!
