A Sri Vaisnava Priest takes two sets
This evening after kirtan and the Gita reading, this wonderful Sri Vaisnava head priest of Atlanta’s Hindu temple agreed to take home sets of Sri Caitanya Caritamrita and Srimad Bhagavatham. I felt the blessings of our entire Sri and Gaudiya acaryas. Usually when we are distributing a Bhagavatham or Caitanya set, the recipient has very little idea what they are receiving, but in this case the priest, being so pious and humble, cried tears of gratitude. Sankiratan is so special that we can feel much mercy just giving books to some ignorant person on the street and we also feel
much mercy giving books to someone who has been standing next to Balaji and worshiping Balaji his whole life. Usually the Sri Vaishnavas will take a Bhagavatam set, but in this case he was happy to also receive and read about Lord Caitanya, which was so sweet.
