All types of jivas get the mercy……

Bhagavad Gita

One person, Shashi, who is an atheist, mentioned that his father is also an atheist. His father works for the Gov't. of Tamil Nadu's Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Dept. The father appreciated it that devotee children were presenting the Gita to him. To encourage the kids, he took the Gita and gave a generous donation. We were happy that Srila Prabhupada's Gita made its way into an atheist's library. The rest we know the Lord will take care of.

Zxyrus, a teenager, did not have money, but he gave his most cherished toy elephant as a donation for a soft Gita. Since he was sincere and wanted to read the Gita we were happy to give him one.

We met two favorable families who showed interest in buying Srimad Bhagavatam in the future. At one door, the family spoke Telugu, and little Abhijeet started presenting the Bhagvaatam in eloquent Telugu. He told how Srila Vyasadeva was despondent even after compiling the Vedas and that later he received instructions from Narada Muni to write the glories of the Lord — everything in Telugu. I was surprised listening to his Telugu, and the family really appreciated Abhijeet. At age nine, he is presenting our scripture in his mother tongue. He is very nicely trained by Pramila Mataji and Srinivas Prabhu.

Swekha would not let a person pass without trying to give him or her a Gita. She stopped people even when we were about to sit in the car to leave. She is very enthusiastic, and she was sad that no one took the Bhagavatam that day. But we could understand that we had gotten an opportunity to glorify the books. Indeed, it our great good fortunate even to just to glorify the Bhagavatam while going door to door.

Param Vijayate Sri Krishna Sankirtanam!

Your servant,
Kamesvari-devi Dasi
