Appreciation for Srila Prabhupada.
Dear Navina prabhu,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
Today we realised the appreciation people feel for reading Srila Prabhupada's books and appreciation for his mission.
I visited one congregation member. She is from Malaysia. Herself very devoted her husband not at all interested.
She showed me her library of books and she must have had about 30 of Srila Prabhupada's books. She has read them all and she happily accepted the offer to purchase a full set of Bhagavatam and later a set of Caitanya Caritamrta. Throughout our conversation she repeated maybe ten times to me how she felt Prabhupada had saved her life and how he is saving the lives of all the hippies and young people just lost in material life.
Just by reading Prabhupada's books she had begun chanting and enquring from me how she could help her friends who were all steeped in atheism and material life.
She could understand how Srila Prabhupada is a true representative of Lord Krsna and she expressed to me how humble and wonderful Srila Prabhupada is and over and over again praised him.
Just wanted to share this with others as I am finding it so nice to hear and chant about the Lord and His pure devotee.
