Bhagavad Gita Distribution
While distributing in the LA airport I approached a man and showed him the Bhagavad Gita, he immediately lit up with pleasure, as I was showing it to him he became more and more ecstatic hearing about the philosophy and viewing the pictures. When I asked for a donation he enthusiastically gave a very nice donation and then before he left he said, "you know, I teach world history in the university and after I read this I'm going to teach this Bhagavad gita in my class, thank you very much for giving this to me".
A few hours later I approached an American couple. As soon as I gave the Gita to the man he kissed it! Then put it to his head out of respect. I was shocked, in the twenty six years that I've been distributing books I never saw so much respect given to Prabhupada's books. Then he went on to say how much he loved the BG, especially Prabhupada's, saying that it is his favorite book and one of the greatest books ever written. He said he was on his way to Europe to attend a spiritual conference and that to receive the Gita on the way is very auspicious.
