Christmas Eve in the mall

Here's a few little stories.
One old lady of maybe 75 years. She had her fingernails painted red with little white Christmas trees on them, and was quite touched that I noticed them and told her how nice they looked. After she gave me a few dollars I really got a thrill watching her hobble away with a big brown 9th canto part 3 under her arm.
Another was a man who was sitting in his car on his mobile phone, I asked if he could ask the person who he was talking to if he should buy the book. Whoever he was talking to said, "yes" and he took it. So the mercy was flowing, but it got too cold and I had to go in and thaw out.
At a shop in west Dallas I detected that a man was from the middle east. "Sa allah ma allahlekham" I told him. "Ma allah lekham sa allah" he replied and after a short conversation he had bought the "Beyond Birth and Death." This was a highlight as I know Srila Prabhupada is really happy when muslims take an interest in Krishna Consciousness.
Another incident that seemed special was when I went into a store with some Mexican girls behind the counter. They were rather pretty and proud. The first one rejected the book hard and it looked like her sister was going to also. then suddenly she pulled $5 out of the cash register and became the owner of one "Mas alla de Nacimiento y de la Muerte" When Srila Praphupada comes into those peoples lives, it is a big event every time.
