Determination in Thailand

In Thailand it has been very, very slow getting things going especially in regards to book distribution.
Recently, many young Nepali students have been coming to study, and several of them are already devotees. They have now been successfully distributing Prabhupada’s books. One mataji, Sneha devi is especially powerful. She met a veterinarian, who after failing to understand Buddhism, was very happy to come in contact with Srila Prabhupada's books.
When HG Gopiparanadhana Prabhu was visiting for six weeks, he daily met with a doctor who has now become very serious about Krishna consciousness. He gives books to all his family members and they even ask him for more.
Another Thai mataji, Laxmi dasi, is determined to make theBhagavad-gita As It Is famous throughout Thailand. She had been involved with various Hindu groups but was dissatisfied, stating that she had experienced many problems. After she read the Gita, it helped her so much that she is now ‘THINKING BIG’ and wants to promote it very strongly.
I am certain that she will pull many others along with her, since by nature people like to follow a strong example.
We always welcome anyone who would like to come and engage in Harinam and book distribution. Gopiparanadhan Prabhu and the students who came with him were very happy throughout their stay in Thailand.
