Hari bol Prabhus, Please accept my obeisances, all glories to Srila Prabhupada!
Just wanted to pas on this story. I was sitting in the ashram reading and someone knocked on the door. Naturally I just called out, "come in," and to my surprise it was an Indian gentleman, he was there to fix something. He walked in and stopped dead in his tracks when he saw the altar with my Thakuraji's and fell flat on the floor to pay obeisances.
Then he ran out and returned with 36 other people. All coming and paying respects. I took a chance and brought out a box of Bhagavad Gitas and asked if they would like…… they all fought over who would get into the box first!
Instanly everyone of these good souls took Prabhupada's Gita and left with a smile. Now my preaching in Iraq has extended to the Indian community that works on the base.
