Krishna’s Intelligence
This occurred in town of Dapoli in Maharashtra. Our group, consisting of sixteen devotees were engaged in Harinaam sankirtan and book distribution in an evening, .
I went to one person who was a car mechanic. He was at that time wearing his work attire and was repairing a car. I asked him to look at the Bhagavad Gita and the guy showed his dirty hands and said he can’t touch Bhagavad Gita.
So I showed him Bhagavad Gita from my hand, showing different pictures of Bhagavad Gita, explained quality of book and content of the book. But he was not curious to get the book as his hand dirty, although by now he did like the book. (typical indian piety)
So I told him- what if I give you this book in a plastic bag so it won’t get dirty. With this new idea and a gentle push, finally he bought the book.
Usually when people give some reasoning or excuse, most of them dont buy book. But this person bought the book.
I learned this lesson that if persevere in our efforts in giving this books inspite of peoples internal or external qualification, Krishna gives us intelligence to speak right words.
