Lipovec Hit by Thirty eight Bombs

When I have an opportunity and I happen to be in Daruvar, where there are many Czech villages, I distribute books door to door. Recently, I completed my distribution in a small village called Lipovec. I have to say it was tough. Village people are often covered heavily by ignorance, because they kill so many animals cows, pigs, chickens. They kill them directly and they breed them for the slaughterhouses. I doubted there was a chance there for direct preaching.
However, by the mercy of guru and Krishna everything is possible. One day, I began to ponder how to give these village people Krishna consciousness in a way that they could accept it. Then I begn to talk to them about how meat-eating causes war if a person can kill a cow, then he or she is not far from killing another human being, and other such arguments.
War is still an issue here. By the end of our discussion, these animal-killers were nodding in agreement and actually bought some of Srila Prabhupada's books! The people in almost every house I visited bought at least one book. This small village named Lipovec was hit by 38 bombs Srila Prabhupada's bombs, of course.!
