Little Free Libraries
Mother Nidra in Denver put me in contact with a devotee named Bhakta Hal who sets up routes to find “Little Free Libraries” for sankirtan devotees. He has maps and info from the people who install Little Free Libraries all over North America including Canada.
Bhakta Hal sends many routes, and my daughter Gaura has become our Google maps navigator. We get to access the cornucopia of books which is our temple book room, then go out looking for these funny little altars stuck in people’s front yards or in popular business districts. Some are installed at police or fire stations, others in front of elementary schools. Each Little Library is a sweet altar for Srila Prabhupada’s books, from Beverly Hills to South Central.
