Lord Caitanya’s mercy in Bhopal
We devotees have been distributing Srimad Bhagavatam sets in Bhopal for the past year, and we regularly meet people eager for the mercy of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu.
Once, the devotees entered a home where the hosts were happy to receive them and welcomed the devotees in. The devotees were surprised to find deities of Sri Sri Radha Krishna, all of Srila Prabhupada's books, and pictures of Srila Prabhupada. The hosts explained that they had purchased these books, but had never associated with any temple. They were regularly reading Srila Prabhupada's books. Therein, they found one topic repeated: that of doing service to Krishna. So they asked the devotees to please give them some service. The devotees asked them to start holding programs in their home.
One young lady came to our center at around 7 p.m. and asked for the full set of Srimad Bhagavatam in English. She purchased the whole set. She said that she had been reading the First Canto, which she got from a friend, and "A Second Chance". Then she visited Vrindavan and our Krishna-Balaram Mandir and all of this inspired her to purchase a full set of Srimad Bhagavatam.
