Meeting souls in Ljubljana, Slovenia
During the last days of the marathon in Ljubljana, people approached me for books. In a shopping centre I turned around and just next to me was standing a young man. He immediately looked at the books.
He said, "I haven't read that one (Bhagavad-gita)."
He'd already read the books Prabhupada, Path of Perfection, and Teachings of Lord Caitanya. He took two books and said that he is a Muslim by faith, but Hare Krsna is closer to him.
Along with the books, we distribute prasada as a gift. Once, I showed the books to a man. He was uninterested and then I offered him cookie prasada as a gift, which he also refused. So I continued distributing.
A few minutes later, the same man approached me and said, "I changed my mind. Please give me these blessed cookies."
He gave a generous donation for the cookies, so I also gave him a book also. All glories to the nectar of book distribution and prasada distribution!
