More big steps towards Krsna
A few years back I met this dentist, Dr Vera Zdarsky, and sold her a Srimad Bhagavatam set. I tried several times to get her to come to the Loft in Auckland but she seemed to never make it.
Recently at New Varshan (the temple in west Auckland), on a Sunday, I saw Khela Tirtha Prabhu talking to this lady in the temple shop and I immediately recognized her as Dr Vera. I naturally said hi and soon found out that she had read three of the Cantos of Srimad Bhagavatam and is now looking for the Caitanya Caritamrita, the teachings of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu.
After talking for sometime we made plans to bring her the Caitanya Caritamrita set along with all the other books we had available. The following Wednesday I trolleyed the set and a box full of Prabhupada’s books to her dental clinic not far from the brahmacari ashrama.
She was happy to see the books and took them all – CC set, Krishna Book, NOD, NOI… to name a few. It was really nice, she was so happy to have the books. I have noticed that she has made more steps towards Krishna since our last meeting some three years ago. Now she is chanting Hare Krsna and always says Hare Krsna and Haribol. She is expressing her interest to come to the Loft. Lets hope she will make it this year.
