So back to Bhagavad-Gita 101; Krsna's the doer. You'd think I would learn that lesson after a few years! Luckily… na me parthasti kartavyam trisu lokesu kincana; there's no work prescribed for Krsna in all three planetary systems, otherwise he'd have his work cut out with souls like me. But still out of His causeless mercy he shows us again and again that ultimately He's doing it all.
So Krsna did it again while Mahatma Prabhu and I were taking time out talking with Kuo- Wei Lan outside a convenience store in Min Hsiung, Chayi County. She was a student at the local Chung-Cheng University and was interested though I think more in Westerners dressed as monks than Krsna Consciousness but you know how it goes!
As we were talking, one boy rode up on one of the 3 billion mopeds in Taiwon and waited politely for a break in our conversation. As we were in the midst of an "important" point I simply put a couple of books in his hand to give him something to read while he was hanging there as if he was in a doctors waiting room. The Kuo-Wei interaction was reaching a "critical" point but I managed to briefly look over at our friendly rider and tell him the cost of the books. In one swift motion he pulled out the exact money, handed it to me, and with his books rode off into the night without saying a word. I looked at Mahatma, he looked at me, and we both looked at Kuo-Wei, who said, "That must be God working!"
