Once one devotee spoke with a lady enrolled in a university in an East European country. It was summertime and very hot. She was looking out the window and saw a book outside her window that was keeping up the window in the next apartment. She saw the book and was amazed how beautiful it was (the Krsna book). She was spiritually inclined so she could understand by looking at it that in was a spiritual book. She couldn't understand why they were using such a beautiful book to keep up a window. So she went to the door of the next apartment and knocked on it. When the neighbor opened the door, she said, "I have something that you could use to keep your window open, if you let me read the book that you now have keeping your window open, and I'll return it." They said, "Sure, no problem, and you can keep it." She became a devotee. We never know how someone will receive Srila Prabhupada's books, but our duty is to just get them out there. Srila Prabhupada said, "There are people waiting on every street for this knowledge".
