Patience pays off
In Thailand it has very very slow to get things, esp. book distribution, going. Recently many young Nepali students are coming there to study, and many of them are already devotees. They are trying successfully to distribute books. One mataji, Sneha devi is especially powerful She met on Veterinarian who, after failing to understand Buddhism, is very happy to contact Srila Prabhupada's books. When HG Gopiparanadhana Prabhu was there for six weeks, he was daily meeting this Dr. who is now very fixed up. He gives books to all his family members and they ask for more.
Now one Thai Mataji, Laxmi, is determined to make the BHAGAVAD GITA As It Is famous throughout Thailand. She has been involved with various Hindu groups but was not satisfied, saying the she was having many problems She read the GITA and it helped her so much that she is "THINKING BIG" and wants to promote the GITA very strongly. I am sure that she will pull many others along with her, since by nature people like to follow a strong example..
We always welcome anyone who wants to come and do harinam and distribute books. Gopiparanadhan Prabhu and the students who come with him were very happy there.
