Prayerful Mood Before Book Distribution
One day I forgot to pray before doing Book Distribution. And no books were going. Suddenly I remembered and offered my prayers to Srila Prabhupada asking his blessings. And the books started going!!!
Moral:
1. Prabhupada showers his unconditional and immediate reciprocation to the souls desiring to be an instrument in spreading the mission of Lord Chaitanya.
2. At times, we think we are doing this and then we are made to realise weare just instruments of his will.
3. Entering into a prayerful mood before performing any kind of devotionalservice is very important. Intellectual Study 24 I was approached by a Christian lady who was a Hindu by birth. She was interested in buying a book. Since she already had the Bhagavad Gita shetook the Krsna book for a friend. While conversing she mentioned that thisfriend is a priest who is interested to know more about Krsna as there isconstant comparison between Krsna and Jesus in their congregation. Thepriest already has the knowledge of the Bible and now wants to study thehindu scripture 'Gita' as well to understand the similarities. Moral: Many times, we may not know why people are taking the books. Never the less, we just have to be there with the books because that is our part of the whole play being orchestrated by the Lord. And we should play our part nicely.
