Preaching in prisons within a prison

A while back, I was invited to the Ladies' Prison in Durban, South Africa, by Anasuya Dasi. What an awesome, ecstatic, purifying experience! It was well worth our every effort, as these inmates were not only reading Srila Prabhupada's books but studying two basic books: The Science of Self Realisation and Bhagavad-gita As It Is.
The experience was a purification of my heart. Sure enough, I am a prisoner in this world, shackled by selfish desire, anger, greed, madness, illusion and envy. There's no prison security, no bars, no barbed wire and electric fences. Yet we don't want to escape. How amazing this is.
To escape the prison-like world, I embarked on a project at the Mens' Prison of distributing eight hundred of Srila Prabhupada's books in the local language, Zulu, during the last Karttik. These books contain the key to enter the spiritual world. Overall, my experience was sobering.
Mission accomplished!
