Real dogs distributing books
See the dog in the attached picture? Well, he distributes a lot of books. Mahalaksmi, the devotee next to him, goes out on book distribution with Janardana (his name).
Many people stop and pet the dog. While they’re petting, she asks, “Do you like him? I think you’ll also like this,” and she shows a book to them. Most people take a book and give a donation. Half of the books she distributes are because of Janardhana.
At ISKCON Silicon Valley, there is another dog book distributor. His owner puts a bag on the dog’s back, like a saddlebag, and put books on each side. The devotee who owns the dog distributes books from the bag to curious onlookers.
