Sankirtan nectar in London
Recently, I stopped a middle-age lady and gave her a Sri Isopanisad. She took the book, looked at the cover, looked at me and said, "Can I please have one more book like this?"
I happily gave her a second copy. She looked at me holding an Isopanisad in each hand and asked me, "Can I please, please have one more?"
I said, "Of course", and gave her another one.
Then, holding three books she said, "My dear girl, I will give you as much money as you want. I will give you a very generous donation. But please can I have one more?"
I couldn't help laughing and gave her a fourth book.
Finally, relieved and satisfied, still looking at the books she said, "I've bought Christmas presents for everyone but my three best friends. I couldn't find anything that was really worth buying. But these books are the best of the best you can get–that is what I feel. I will give one to each of them, and I will read one myself."
She gave me a very large donation and hugged me. I gave her some insence and the contact details of the local temple.
All glories to the sankirtan movement of Lord Sri Caitanya, to Srila Prabhupada, and to my dear spiritual master!
Your Servent,
Chandra Mohini Dasi
