Our Humble Obeisances Jaya Srila Prabhupada
One new mata in our congregation happened to tell something from her past. 12 years ago, when she was 14, she was basically against everything, especially against christianity and church. She used to wear this kind of ghost like white makeup on her face, with some bloodmarks coming from her mouth…hair was colored to neon-blue.
Once on her town one christian frankly said to her "Girl, you are on your way to hell!"
"Well…thanks…"
It was the same day(or nearby), when she met one devotee (propably Tattvavada prabhu), who said to her in a jolly mood, "Oh, you are the most colorfull person of this day!"
She took the book, visited the temple quite soon, (boyfriend took drugoverdose the next day, and died), had some years break before coming back, but is nowadays nicely chanting and doing seva in the temple.
Lady just confirmed, that devotees are so much different from christians, seems, that they are not hung up to anything external, and are broadminded.
Since I am fond of distributing to similar freaks, story was especially enlivening to me.
