The most interesting Krsna and another life saved
I was distributing at a touristy area in Denver Colorado when I approached a man offering him the Bhagavad Gita.
He said, “No, not interested.”
So I asked him, “Do you know what it is?”
“No.”
“Then how do you know you’re not interested?”
“Good point, alright show it to me.”
I showed him the pictures and explained a little.
Then He said, “This is actually very interesting and I’d like to give you a donation.
He gave a nice donation and went on his way with Krsna, who is the most interesting.

Today, a devotee told me about an interesting experience he had many years ago. He was distributing books in Toronto and approached a man and offered him the Bhagavad-gita.
The man told the devotee his sad story. His wife had left him, he had lost his job, everything was going wrong, and he was contemplating suicide. The devotee tried to console him and then asked for a donation, but the man had nothing. So the devotee gave him the book and wished him well, out of kindness.
A few months later, this person went to the temple, found the devotee, and told him, “The Bhagavad-gita has changed my life. Thank you so much for giving me the book. I’m so happy now.”
The devotee who told me this wants to remain anonymous.
Prabhupada’s books save lives. There are many stories like this.
